FAQ

What should I do if I find that parts are missing during installation?

Please contact the Berissa team and we will promptly reissue the missing parts free of charge.

Is it easy to disassemble the punch-free product later?

It is convenient to loosen the bolts on both sides in a counterclockwise direction with the help of a plastic wrench. Do not pry them forcibly to avoid damaging the track or window edge.

The expansion tube cannot be tightened, and the track shakes. What is the reason?

The drilling depth may be insufficient or the expansion tube may not be knocked flush with the wall. You need to deepen the drilling or reinstall the expansion tube to ensure that the screws can fully expand and fix.

What are the safety precautions for drilling at height?

  • Use a stable ladder; avoid standing on windowsills or the edges of furniture.
  • Work with a partner: one person holds the ladder steady while the other drills.
  • Wear safety goggles to prevent debris from flying.

What should be done before installing drill-free curtains on tile walls?

Thoroughly clean the wall to remove oil, water stains, and dust. Wipe it dry with a cloth before applying the adhesive to ensure the track adheres firmly.

Can drill-free curtains be used in the bathroom?

Yes, but it’s important to note that due to the humid environment in the bathroom, you should choose waterproof fabric.

What if the drill-free curtain slides slightly after installation?

It may be that the bolts are not tightened enough. Retighten the adjustment bolts (be careful to apply moderate force to avoid damaging the window sill).

Why won’t the drill-free curtain bolts turn or the threads get stuck?

It could be that the bolts are misaligned with the track’s screw holes. First, loosen the bolts by turning them counterclockwise, then reinsert and tighten. If there’s debris causing a blockage, clean the threads with a dry cloth before trying again.
